Our Mission Statement








SOAKING PRAYER: at St. Augustine Assemblies of God Church on Shores Blvd. (The Shores) at 7:15pm on Tuesdays.





BIBLE CONTEMPLATION: Everyone is welcome to attend on Tuesdays at 6:30pm.


HEALING SERVICE & HOLY COMMUNION: Wednesdays at 7pm. All are welcome.


SISTERS IN CHRIST: The women of Christ The King have formed a church centered fellowship to which all women of the church belong.  We will maintain disciplines of prayer, service and evangelism under the unifying mission statement, ‘Love God, Become Disciples, Serve Others’.  We will resume after summer.  All women are invited.   Contact Lori Parisi: 904.794.0880.


INTERCESSORY PRAYER FOR CHRIST THE KING: Mondays from 10am to 11am.  All are invited to participate.  Contact Johanna Baker 904-794-4819 or Arline Cunningham 904-471-1103.


RECORDING MINISTRY: If you have missed a Sunday, want to add to your resource library, or would like to share a message with someone, sermons are available on CD.  Suggested donation $2. Contact Janerae 904- 797-1548.

HOLY YOGA: Thursdays at 10 am.  Everyone is welcome.  Just bring a mat and a friend!  Contact: Marybeth Kuenster 904-797-1463


ARMSTRONG: Each fall the community of Armstrong, on SR 207, grows as they welcome back the migrant workers who harvest local crops.  We have been invited to help welcome these families by providing toiletries and personal hygiene items such as soap, deodorant, shampoo, tooth brushes and toothpaste.  Please bring these items, as you are led, and place them in the designated bin in the entry.  Contact:  Ann Doak 904-819-1917.


CAREFEST PROJECTS: There are home repair and maintenance projects in the community that we ‘adopted’ from CareFest that remain to be completed.  Interested in volunteering?  Contact:  Ann Doak 904-819-1917.


PASTORAL CARE TEAMS: Teams of members have formed to provide care for those who are in need; meals for families in times of illness/recovery, visits, driving, shopping, etc.  If you would like to offer your services in any capacity as a member of a team, or if you need help in any way, contact Lynn Arnett 904-797-6357.


ST. FRANCIS HOUSE: Groups have formed to regularly prepare and serve dinner, and lead worship at the St. Francis House Soup Kitchen.  Contact Ann Doak 904-819-1917.


BETTE STRICKLAND SCHOLARSHIP FUND: Donations are being accepted for student scholarships.  Please write checks to Christ The King, memo: scholarship.  Each fall scholarships are awarded to deserving college students in our community.


Thank you to Council On Aging! They have agreed to loan us a bus, complete with lift for wheelchair passengers, on Sunday mornings to transport those needing a ride to the worship service.
